Please note: While our general admission due date for applications for the 2020-21 school year has passed, we will process your application and look forward to learning more about you and your child.

Our admissions process includes:

Completing an application
Touring our school
A play visit (Your play visit cannot be scheduled until an application is received. During a play visit your child will be invited to play with some of our teachers and have a snack while you remain in the room.)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

* Tour and play visit are required to complete your application process. Please choose below.

We are delighted that you are applying to the Brooklyn Heights Synagogue Preschool! Because it is so important that a parent be confident a preschool is a good fit for their child, we require that parents tour our school and come in for play visit in order for the application process to be complete. Tours for admission in the 2020-21 school year begin in October of 2019. They may be scheduled before completing an application, or you may submit your application now and we will schedule one for you. Applications for consideration by the standard February date selected by the Independent Schools Association of Greater New York (ISAAGNY) must be submitted by Monday, December 16, 2019.

Once you have submitted an application and gone on a tour, we will schedule a small group play visit for you and your child. Both parents are encouraged to attend if it is possible since this is an opportunity for you to ask questions that may have occurred to you since the tour.

Late applications will always be accepted and processed in the order in which they are received. You are encouraged, however, to call the school at (718) 522-2070 X136 to learn if there are any remaining openings if you have missed the deadline. In all cases, you will need to complete a play visit and tour in order for placement to be considered. We look forward to getting to know you and your child!

We will notify you upon our receipt of your application and if necessary will schedule a tour and play visit with you. We will also ask you to email a photograph of your child for your file.

By checking this box, I certify that the information provided in this application is complete and correct and authorize Brooklyn Heights Synagogue Preschool to request further information from teachers, counselors, and/or administrators for verification. I understand that any information obtained by Brooklyn Heights Synagogue Preschool through interviews and follow-up verifications does not match the information provided in the application, BHSP's offer of admission may be revoked. I understand that a $3000 non-refundable deposit will be required to hold an offered placement. I also understand that children must turn 2 by June 30, 2020 to be considered for admission to the 2020-21 school year.
