How could the Jewish legal principles and concepts of Nezikin, damages (or torts), help us respond to the questions of responsibility and liability for environmental damage? We will undertake a deep reading of Rabbi Mayse’s 2019 article from Penn State University’s ‘Journal of Jewish Ethics’.
